Our horse camp neighbors the Big South Fork National Park & Recreation Area. We have direct access to over 150 miles of horse trails within the BSF.
You will find that it’s very wide from the main entrance to a large cul-de-sac at the back of camp and very easily navigated. The majority of our sites have the convenience and ease of a driver's side back in. Not all of our campsites will accommodate a 50’ foot trailer, but most will. If you have a large rig, when you make a reservation let us know. We can usually guarantee you a site large enough for your needs.
With plenty of gravel roads adjacent to the camp, we welcome wagons and buggies as well.
The Honey Creek Horse Camp LLC provides more beautiful scenery in just a half-day’s ride, than you’ll find anywhere. There are numerous views along the trails, including beautiful cliffs and creek crossings. The natural arch formation and Potter's Cave are only a 10-minute ride/walk from camp. For the die-hards, the Mt. Helen trail connects up to over 150 miles of equestrian trails within the Big South National Park. Within 30-minutes from camp, you can be riding along the beautiful White Oak River. The White Oak runs along the old O&W Railroad bed which served the old mining and timber camps in the late 1800’s - early 1900’s, and has since been turned into part of the park's equestrian trail system.
