Loved it!!
Very clean and well managed. We meet the nicest
people and the beauty of the trails is unmatched!
I can't wait to go back. This is one of the few
campgrounds that I would consider taking my
younger children to. The atmosphere is so relaxed
and the camp site is all shaded which was really
nice. Rick and his daughter were great to us. The
access to the trails is so easy. You can be on the
trail in the park in just a minute or two. Some of
the other campgrounds we stayed with you had to
ride for a ways before you even got to the park
and they are directly adjacent to the park. We
also took a day and went down to Burnt Mill Bridge
and my husband got to walk the river and fish and
had great luck fishing there. Their was also
grills and picnic tables by the river so we spent
the whole day laying on the beach, cooking and
fishing down there. One of a kind experience!!

I want everyone to know that
this is the nicest and quietest campground I have
been to in the Big South Fork. The bathrooms were
very clean and in great shape at all times and our
host Rick was as knowledgeable about the trails
and horses in general as anyone I have met on the
trails. They had some many overlooks, caves,
waterfalls and sites to see that we could not get
it all in over the weekend. We have already
re-booked to back for the Memorial Weekend event
and are really looking forward to it. I originally
read a lot of these reviews before going and went
with the mindset that the stalls were going to be
small from what other people had said but I have a
17 hands Walker that worked in the new set of
stalls just fine. I looked at the dates of some of
these reviews and realized that they were before
they built the second barn and that's probably why
they said they were small. As for the trails, I
thought they were awesome. They were not like
other ones where you just ride along dusty gravel
roads. They get you out into some of the best
riding and scenery I have ever seen. I would
highly recommend Rick and Morgan at Honey Creek
and give it a HIGH 5 STARS!!!!! Outstanding
facility and trails!!!!
